Dr. Diane Pelly
Diane is a behavioural economics and worker well-being corporate trainer, published researcher and consultant. She is a member of the UCD Behavioural Science and Public Policy Group, a committee member of the Irish Behavioural Science and Policy Network, a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a certified member of The Global Association of Applied Behavioural Scientists (GAABS).
She has extensive teaching experience through her previous roles as an Assistant Professor of Behavioural Science (Trinity College Dublin) and Teaching Assistant (University College Dublin). She currently teaches an independently accredited online 10-week CPD course “Behavioural Science at Work: applying behavioural insights in the workplace and beyond” which she developed to specifically address the continuous development needs of busy working professionals.
Diane was awarded her Doctorate in Behavioural Economics from University College Dublin. Diane also holds a 1st class honours BComm International (German) from University College Dublin, a 1st class honours MPhil (Finance and Economics) degree from the University of Cambridge and a 1st class honours BSc in Psychology from the Open University.
Prior to commencing her PhD, she worked in corporate finance, debt restructuring and investor relations for over 20 years in London and Dublin with Citigroup, Zurich Financial Services Group and Geelon & Co. Her areas of expertise include applied behavioural science, behaviour change, organisational psychology, and subjective well-being.
